Good fun aside,
National Disability League (NDL) can show you a whole new world of
possibilities. Disability Sports has a unifying
factor among all races and ages. Taking up a sport is not just about
developing a skill. It’s about nurturing character and personality. People
with disabilities can learn valuable lessons in team spirit, determination
and perseverance through sports.
The programmes of the NDL games will take place from 12 May
to 26 July 2009 islandwide in Singapore. The NDL Games will host 18 sports
and approximately 800 athletes with disabilities are expected to participate
in the NDL Games.
