Logo
Elements:
The circles, so visually suggestive of
bubbles, speak of dreams and aspirations. It also symbolizes the fullness of
life and the hope that it holds. The arc it forms is a graphic
representation of a reach – reaching out to more in life. The emphasis on
ability is shown in the enlarged and bolded font. The ‘dis’ of ‘disability’,
being enclosed in the largest ‘bubble’ is also suggestive of the wholesome
integration of disabilities in society that the NDL is striving for. The
illusion of a smiling face that the bubble also creates further juxtaposes
the aspect of acceptance.

Enthusiastic, Excellence and Passion
Colors:
The
colors employed are reminiscent of the colors of the Singapore Disability
Sports Council logo, portraying the association between the two. As it is
with the SDSC logo, the vibrant colours of blue and green in the NDL logo
represent courage, confidence and the indomitable spirit of the athletes.
